1-31: “Naturally Nude” with Tracy Shaw and Gene Rodman. Enjoy the work of two local photographers. This show is an exhibition of nude figures encompassing a variety of both environmental and studio works. The photographers attempt to balance the fine line of art, sensuality and the beauty of the human figure in this exhibit. The exhibit is free and open to all during normal Arts Guild hours. 4: Babcock & Miles Wine Tasting and Sale ~ 5:00 to 7:00 pm ~ The Pollard Hotel ~ A donation of $10 pp is suggested ~ contact phone: 406-446-0001 ~ Please make plans to join Babcock & Miles for a wine tasting at The Pollard Hotel in downtown Red Lodge. We will be sampling an amazing collection of 20 plus great wines from around the world. In addition to the official line up of wines we will randomly be sampling a few "surprise" wines as well as a few blind tastings! We will be collecting donations for the Red Lodge Area Food Partnership Council instead of a cover charge. A donation of $10 per person is suggested and all of the proceeds will benefit the Food Partnership Council. If you are not familiar with the Red Lodge Area Food Partnership Council, they are the driving force behind a number of community wide local food efforts. The Council is actively building momentum behind initiatives that include expanding the farmers' market, strengthening producer-consumer relationships, developing community gardens, organizing local events, and improving school food.

5: Artists’ Reception. Meet Gene Rodman and Tracy Shaw, the featured artists with work on display in the Guild’s Main Depot Gallery from 3-5pm, Saturday, May 5th. Reception is free and open to all. Dinner will be served in style featuring Friar's famous Panko Encrusted Walleye and melt-in-your-mouth Teriyaki Steak. Other special evening events will include a bountiful silent auction featuring never-before-seen items and a raffle for a unique and stunning diamond pendant.
12: Expressing Ourselves through the Abstract with Leona Dillon. Leona will spend the day teaching oil painting using the palette knife. She will show participants how to paint in the abstract and still be able to recognize the image being painted. She will concentrate on how lines, color and shapes can express emotions to let the viewer’s mind imagine the happenings. Cost is $50 for members and $65 for non-members.
